International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, IEW is an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States. Find out how to get involved at the IEW website. Get involved locally: Visit the Rinker Center for International Programs to learn about BSU study-abroad programs and activities on campus. Learn about the various Fulbright programs that provide funding for students, scholars, teachers, and professionals to undertake graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools, sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
